You ever find out you like the same foods as your grandmother or your dad? This observation has been recognized in science as epigenetic. The study of genetic material in relation to our ancestors and relatives. How behavioral patterns can be noticed when observing a family's history. This means there's memory in my genes. If my father had a habit of doing something I'm more than likely to develop that habit as well. Genetic memory comes into play. We can become more self aware and notice these patterns within ourselves. A lot of beings have done ancestral healing without even realizing it. Trauma can be embedded in our family avoided, until someone chooses to take responsibility for it, recognize it and really see what can be learned from the experience. Perhaps it's a lesson for you but also for others. In certain cultures, revelation as such are said to help the collective consciousness. Genetics is largely the study of us. Hopefully they're finding volunteers to be studied. Yikes. Food is truly an amazing part of the experience of life to me. What i didnt know was that I like certain things because my grandma likes it. 😅 it's beautiful. As if it to say, there's a certain taste that my body's genetics is used to tasting/eating.
I started to notice that my health wasn't the best because of the foods that I've been conditioned and literally been eating for generations. I was eating late at night, craving sugar, and just not as vibrant as i could've been. "But it was good, food is so good" is my excuse. It's not easy to stop eating the same foods unless you just stop. It's possible. If you'd rather not, find a healthy balance of trying new things with your normal meals. I was surprised with how much food I actually liked! So many food varieties I hadn't known about that I denied myself of due to just not knowing about them.
"That's just how i am" isnt a valid excuse anymore. Its been proven now that we can change; were not the same forever. We can create new cellular connections in our bodies through practices like fasting, meditation, and prayer. When we do something new we're also creating new connections or reawakening old ones. Food has a huge influence on our behavior, how we think, and how we feel. Certain foods, if not agreeable with our genetic makeup or if they contain parasites mess with our system internally. Parasites* could lead to harmful side effects that can go unnoticed for quite some time.
*parasite- an organism that lives in or on an organism of another species and benefits at the other's expense.
